Digitization of the coin collection as part of the Numid network. Funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since 2017.

In our project, we investigate and evaluate humanities modes of operation in virtual research environments. Empirical validation takes place using the specific example of the “Variae” of the late antique politician Flavius Magnus Aurelius Cassiodorus Senator.

“Humanist Computer Interaction put to the test” is a joint project of the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, the Hochschule Mainz and the Technische Universität Darmstadt. It is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of the funding measure “Validation of the technological and social innovation potential of scientific research – VIP+” for the years 2017 to 2020.
